We recommend a hire car, to make the most of the opportunity to explore the Peninsula and visit Gumusluk with its world famous fish restaurants beside the sunken ruins of Myndos, or alternatively Yalikavak with its sophisticated marina.

Nowhere is more than 30 minutes by car from Bodrum and all areas have excellent dolmus services and yellow cabs. We would be delighted to provide a quote for a car, minibus or even a scooter through our other company Bodrum Car Rental

Steeped in history and culture, rugged and verdant, vibrant and colourful, Bodrum is a cosmopolitan destination, all year round, for visitors from around the world. With an international airport airport less than an hour away and frequent budget airline flights down from Istanbul, ferries from the Greek islands and an excellent road network, it does not take long to escape to this tourist paradise. Even at the height of summer what you will notice, is that it is hot, but with relatively no humidity.
The Bodrum Peninsula offers something for everyone. The community is artistic and open minded. Music, ballet and the arts feature prominently, with many productions being staged in the open-air amphitheatre throughout the summer.
The cuisine reflects the people, an exciting pot pouri of ingredients offering everything from fresh fish straight from the fishing boats to traditional pide cooked in wood fired ovens to Spanish tapas at the marina and the world famous 'doner kebap'.
This is where the 'rich and beautiful' come for the summer. Visit Gulturkbuku and see the stars and the paparazzi. Or perhaps you would rather relax at one of the 'designer' beach clubs like Dodo or Zumo.
For families, you and your children will be greeted like old friends. Children are welcome everywhere and regardless of age there is plenty to keep them amused. If you can drag yourself away from the beaches, they might enjoy pony trekking in the pine forests or a trip to the waterpark at Ortakent.
The Bodrum Peninsula is famous for its crystal clear waters and we recommend a day's diving for beginners and more experienced divers. Gundogan is particular popular with windsurfers due to its unique offshore breezes although for the less experienced a potter round the bay in pedalo can be a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Yachtsmen from all over the world gather for regattas and some of the marinas offer the best berths in the Eastern Mediterranean/Aegean.
